Asim Munir, the chief of Pakistan's military forces, affirmed his country's resilience against terrorism amidst recent violent events. This statement was made during his visit to Zhob district in Balochistan, where he marked Eid-ul-Azha alongside troops positioned on the Western front.

His declaration came shortly after a devastating blast in Quetta, Balochistan's capital, which claimed 24 lives and caused multiple injuries. The Baloch Liberation Army has taken responsibility for the attack. During the visit, Munir led Eid prayers and prayed for the nation's peace and stability, asserting that the army's resolve remains undeterred by such brutality.

He underscored the unyielding morale and determination of both the armed forces and the Pakistani populace in the face of terrorism. Munir pledged that the military, in collaboration with law enforcement and Balochistan's citizens, will continue to rigorously pursue those responsible for acts of terror.

In his Eid message, Munir extended festive greetings and lauded the courage, operational readiness, and steadfast vigilance of the troops amidst the challenges of foreign-sponsored terrorism.
