A fierce fire engulfed a textile factory in Faridabad on Wednesday morning, destroying a significant quantity of garments, according to local police reports.
The blaze started around 6:30 am at the facility located near Pushta Road, rapidly consuming large sections of the warehouse. Firefighters struggled for nearly four hours, working to manage the flames and dense smoke.
The factory premises included a parking area where most vehicles were evacuated safely; however, one vehicle was beyond rescue and was incinerated in the fire. The unit's owner, Devendra Awana, expressed doubts about the fire's origin, suspecting deliberate arson despite no reported injuries. Investigation efforts by police and fire officials are ongoing.
