The Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) meetings emphasized peaceful engagement, reviewing progress in maintaining tranquility along the LAC, which has gradually helped normalize relationships strained since the Galwan Valley clashes. Delegations from both countries also prepared for the upcoming Special Representatives' meeting in China.
India stressed the need for an early expert-level engagement on trans-border rivers, while discussions covered delimitation and cross-border cooperation.
