The Delhi High Court will on Friday address a petition from Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), challenging the suspension of its social media presence on platform X. The case has been listed before Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav.

The Cockroach Janta Party was born from a controversy involving remarks by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant regarding 'cockroaches' and 'parasites'. These comments, made during a discussion on legal titles, were clarified later, emphasizing they targeted fake legal practitioners. Despite the ban on its original account, the CJP's new handle, 'Cockroach is Back', boasts over 227,000 followers, highlighting its continued impact and its commitment to advocating for youth issues and governmental accountability.

The CJP also campaigns for higher accountability in education, focusing on the alleged issues surrounding India's NEET-UG exams, calling for significant political resignations.
