Russia Urges U.S. and Iran to Avoid Armed Conflict

Amid rising tensions, Russia has called on the United States and Iran to steer clear of armed conflict and to continue diplomatic talks. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasized the importance of dialogue on Thursday.

Zakharova reiterated that Russia is prepared to help remove enriched uranium from Iran as a step toward de-escalation. However, she clarified that Moscow is not forcing its initiative on others.

The U.S., for its part, has yet to respond to Russia's long-standing offer, which remains on the negotiating table. The ongoing geopolitical dynamics underscore the need for continued diplomatic efforts.
