The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday apprehended Giribala Singh, a former judge implicated in the suspected death of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma. This arrest follows the annulment of Singh's anticipatory bail by the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The arrest took place in Singh's residence located in Bhopal's Bag Mughaliya extension. Alongside Giribala, her son Samarth Singh, who is already in CBI custody, is also under scrutiny by the agency. The CBI plans to analyze the circumstances of Twisha's demise on May 12 by confronting the duo with each other's statements during further questioning.
