Vodafone Idea Criticizes Airtel for Exclusive Postpaid Priority Plan

Vodafone Idea has launched a social media campaign aimed at critiquing Airtel's recent Priority Postpaid initiative. The campaign claims that Vodafone Idea's network provides equitable service to all subscribers, contrasting Airtel's approach which offers superior service to its postpaid clients.

Airtel's new plan, introduced on May 19, promises postpaid users consistent service quality through 5G technology, even in high-demand areas. This has sparked a debate on net neutrality, with critics arguing it could disadvantage prepaid customers. Airtel, however, maintains that its Priority Postpaid service does not compromise the service quality for its 344 million prepaid users.

A government committee is investigating whether such telecom plans violate net neutrality laws. Meanwhile, Vodafone Idea promotes its extensive network coverage and investment in infrastructure, emphasizing its commitment to fair service.
