The Delhi Police Crime Branch has intensified its investigation into the shooting of a 17-year-old in the Amar Colony area of southeast Delhi. The incident left the teenager, battling for life, critically injured at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.
A 16-year-old suspect, believed to be the shooter, was apprehended with a firearm. Investigators have identified two additional suspects, aged 17 and 18, from Okhla with criminal histories. The altercation began after an incident at the eatery involving remarks made towards the victim's friend, escalating into violence.
Events spiraled when one accused allegedly used a firearm against the victim, Sai Kumar, during the confrontation. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to understand the motive. Sai remains on life support as the investigation progresses.
