Canadian Man Pleads Guilty in Online Suicide Case

Kenneth Law, a Canadian accused of selling a lethal chemical online, has pleaded guilty to aiding suicide at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The 60-year-old resident of Newmarket, Ontario, confessed to the charge on Friday.

Law faced accusations of involvement in 14 suicides across Ontario, with victims ranging from 16 to 36 years old. His lawyer, Matthew Gourlay, confirmed the plea aligned with an agreement allowing the withdrawal of 14 first-degree murder charges.

The plea deal spares Law a high-profile murder trial. Sentencing is forthcoming, with Gourlay opting not to provide further comments on the matter.
