A 41-year-old unemployed man from Faridabad drowned in a canal following a domestic argument about his drinking habits, according to authorities. The man, identified as Vishal, was reportedly confronted about his alcohol consumption by his wife, leading to a family conflict and his subsequent disappearance.

In Faridabad, a tragic incident has surfaced where a 41-year-old man, identified as Vishal, drowned in a canal after a dispute at home. The argument reportedly erupted after his wife, Sanyogita, objected to his drinking habits, as stated by the police on Friday.
Vishal, described as an alcoholic, had been unemployed for eight months, with the household relying on his wife's income from a private school teaching job. The family, comprising the couple and their two children, faced regular conflicts due to Vishal's drinking. Following an argument on Wednesday sparked by Sanyogita's intervention against Vishal's drinking, he left the household and went missing.
The police discovered his body on Friday in the Gurgaon canal, identified through accompanying documents. The body has been transported to BK Hospital for post-mortem examination, while the authorities continue their investigations.
