Police officials intervened and conducted thorough checks on the youths, discovering no illegal meat. Amid rising tensions, officers were compelled to use mild force, including firing in the air and a baton charge, to disperse the agitated crowd and restore order.
Dhanbad's Senior Superintendent of Police, Prabhat Kumar, confirmed that the situation has been stabilized, and precautionary security measures have been implemented to ensure peace. The families of the youths have been taken to a police station for their safety.
