On Friday, the group arrived in Nettur village on motorbikes and carried out the unprovoked assault using sickles. Following the attack, the perpetrators quickly escaped, leaving the injured to be rushed to a nearby government hospital. Law enforcement has registered a case and is actively investigating to bring the offenders to justice.
