Police Officers Attacked by Group of Youths in Kochi

In Kochi, a police team encountered violence in the early hours near Thrikkakara when they responded to a call from the control room. Several youths allegedly attacked the officers, leaving one injured.

According to reports, the incident unfolded when the officers arrived on the scene, where the youths allegedly climbed on their vehicle and issued threats. Visuals from the scene captured on TV showed aggressive behavior directed at the officers. The injured officer was rushed to Ernakulam Medical College for treatment. Authorities have detained five youths and are recording their statements. An FIR is expected to follow.
