Inquiry Commission Inspects Manipur Relief Camps

The Commission of Inquiry into the Manipur violence of 2023 has embarked on a three-day assessment tour, visiting relief camps across key districts. The objective is to evaluate the conditions of internally displaced persons residing in these shelters.
Led by retired Justice BS Chauhan, the team includes former IAS Himanshu Sekhar Das and retired IPS Aloka Prabhakar. During their tour from May 29 to 31, they surveyed camps in Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Imphal West, and Imphal East. The delegation also met with Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh to discuss their findings.
