On the third day of the Asian U20 Championships, Indian athletes continued their outstanding performance by winning three additional gold medals, thus securing their second spot in the medal rankings.

Nikhil Chandrashekar triumphed in the 3000m steeplechase, setting a new personal record with a time of 9:25.44 seconds. Basant cleared 2.20m to clinch gold in the men's high jump, while Shahnavaz Khan delivered an impeccable performance in the men's long jump with a winning leap of 7.84m. Meanwhile, competitors like Aarti significantly contributed by adding a bronze in the women's 200m. With these efforts, India now has seven golds but trails behind China's ten at the top of the table.
