A tragic incident unfolded at a resort in Maharashtra's Palghar district as a 13-year-old boy drowned in the property's swimming pool. The event transpired on Friday evening in the coastal village of Arnala, leaving the local community in shock.
The victim, Ayush Ibad, was the son of an employee at the resort, who was occupied attending to guests at the time. On noticing Ayush was missing, his father commenced a search and ultimately discovered him in the pool. He was quickly retrieved from the water and taken to a nearby hospital, before being referred to another facility where he was declared dead.
Authorities have registered a case of accidental death, and further investigations are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
