India's journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047 hinges on inclusivity, according to Vice President Radhakrishnan. Speaking at the Siri Mathashree Industrial Park inauguration, he stressed that progress must reach all societal segments, emphasizing equitable advancement and social empowerment as pathways to the 'Viksit Bharat' vision.
Radhakrishnan noted transformative strides over the past decade through initiatives benefiting the poor, farmers, women, and youth, alongside infrastructure and innovation enhancements. Highlighting youth's role in nation-building, he encouraged contributions to innovation and skill development.
Adding to the discourse, Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot praised 'Make in India' and similar programs for steering growth and self-reliance. He advocated for efforts to ensure balanced development, reaching marginalized communities and fostering employment through enhanced manufacturing and tech advancements.
The event also underscored the necessity for collaborative participation from governments, institutions, and citizens to realize the collective aim of transforming India into a developed nation. Attendees included public representatives, educators, students, and dignitaries.
