The ongoing water crisis in Indore has prompted Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to call for urgent action to improve water distribution and prioritize relief for the most affected regions. Officials were instructed to double-check water supply measures throughout the day and ensure essential support for crisis-hit locals.

Yadav conducted a strategic meeting at the divisional commissioner's office to assess the situation. He emphasized a need for transparency and efficient management of the water supply system. The meeting stressed equitable distribution in residential sectors and special attention to institutions like colleges and hostels.

Further action includes fighting illegal water extraction and vigilant tracking of both municipal and private water provisions. A top-level visit from Bhopal was mentioned by the CM as a possible addition to the oversight efforts. Key representatives from Indore briefed the necessity to manage resources sourced primarily from the Narmada river.
