Rescue efforts following the Saket building collapse are nearing their conclusion, with emergency teams still at the site as a precautionary measure to ensure no one is trapped in the debris, according to officials.

The Delhi Fire Service maintains a vigilant presence, poised to sweep every part of the area thoroughly. Investigations have determined that six people were killed in the disaster, and eight others suffered injuries after the building, which was home to a coaching center and other businesses, collapsed near the Saket Metro Station.

An FIR has been filed under several sections related to culpable homicide and negligence against the absconding owner. Several police teams are actively searching for him. Early findings of the incident point towards potential lapses such as infrastructural issues or regulatory violations, with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi having suspended two engineers for oversight failures.
