The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has unveiled a state-of-the-art lift at its City-SP Zone office, targeting enhanced accessibility and infrastructure upgrades for the community.
Inaugurated by Mayor Pravesh Wahi, the lift is expected to facilitate access for citizens, including senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, by making the office more accessible and user-friendly, as noted in a civic body statement.
Mayor Wahi emphasized that the corporation's commitment to modernizing and enhancing the accessibility of its offices is part of a broader effort to create more citizen-friendly environments.
The inauguration witnessed participation from local councillor Suman Kumar Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Kanika of the City-SP Zone, and other senior officials of the civic body.
