Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently convened with Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav in New Delhi, pressing for the green light on pivotal projects pivotal to the state's infrastructure and environmental strategies. The discussions centered around obtaining environmental clearances and forest land transfers for the 120MV Sirkari Bhyol Rupasiyabagh Hydroelectric Project on the Gauriganga River, a key undertaking to fulfill Uttarakhand's energy demands.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister advocated for the National Wildlife Board's approval for a proposed ropeway connecting Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, alongside seeking central backing for revitalizing Chaurasi Kutiya, popularly known as the Beatles Ashram. CM Dhami also requested a Rs 404 crore financial assistance package under the CAMPA scheme to combat the frequency of forest fires afflicting the region.

In another significant development, CM Dhami and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the 'House of Himalayas' outlet at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Designed to showcase and sell Uttarakhand's indigenous creations, this initiative, championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, promotes a self-reliant Uttarakhand by giving greater visibility to local products, enhancing the regional economy, and offering a fresh platform for the state's artisans and entrepreneurs.
