Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav convened a high-level meeting to assess security measures in response to tensions between India and Pakistan. At the gathering, held at Samatva Bhavan, Yadav emphasized that national security remains the state's foremost priority.
The Chief Minister directed officials to focus on essential services, urging departments to implement necessary arrangements and precautionary measures promptly. Yadav stressed the need to curb anti-national propaganda and advised citizens to dismiss rumors. He highlighted the importance of safeguarding key government establishments around-the-clock and called for strengthened disaster management services, including health and fire services.
Yadav reviewed updated security protocols, the status of civil amenities, and departmental coordination. He instructed improvement in mutual cooperation among departments and insisted that staff dealing with civil amenities remain on duty until the situation stabilizes. Key officials, including State Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and senior officers from various departments, attended the meeting.
