Mudavath Murali Naik, an Agniveer from Kalli Thanda village, tragically lost his life in Jammu and Kashmir during a firefight, leaving his family devastated. His father, Sriram Naik, expressed the family's grief and dependence on their only son for support.
The Indian Army informed the Naik family of Murali's passing in the early hours. Murali's service began in November 2022, with training in Nashik and subsequent deployments in Assam and Jammu.
Murali's family received condolences and support from state leaders and officials, including a financial aid contribution from State Handlooms Minister S Savitha. Chief Ministers and prominent figures offered tributes, acknowledging Naik's heroism.
