Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, commended the Indian Armed Forces for the resounding success of Operation Sindoor. Speaking at the Adampur Air Base, Modi highlighted the slogan 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' as a testament to the unwavering resolve of soldiers willing to sacrifice for their nation, resonating in both battles and missions.
Emphasizing the global impact of this patriotic slogan, Modi said, "The world has witnessed its power. It's not just a slogan; it represents the resolve of every soldier ready to give their life for India." He further acknowledged the discipline and precision demonstrated by the Indian defence forces, stating, "You have made history, and made billions of Indians proud."
Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, targeted multiple terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir, in response to a deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir. This campaign's precision strikes eliminated over 100 terrorists, dealt significant blows to 11 air bases in Pakistan, and strategically minimized civilian harm, showcasing India's robust anti-terrorism policy.
