Mystery Surrounds Death of BJP Leader's Stepson in New Town

The body of Srinjay Majumdar, the stepson of a BJP leader's wife, was discovered under puzzling circumstances on Tuesday in a flat located in New Town, according to police reports.

Upon being rushed to a nearby private hospital, doctors declared the 26-year-old Srinjay 'brought dead.' The investigation is ongoing as the precise cause of death is pending a post-mortem examination. Police have not received any formal complaints from Srinjay's family or Rinku Majumdar, his mother from a previous marriage.

Rinku Majumdar recently drew media attention after her marriage to BJP leader Dilip Ghosh. She is known as a figurehead within the party's women's wing, adding a layer of intrigue to the ongoing investigation.
