RJD Accuses Sanjay Jha of Nepotism Over Supreme Court Appointments

In a fresh political controversy, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Monday accused Janata Dal (United) leader Sanjay Kumar Jha of nepotism following the appointment of his daughters as government counsels in the Supreme Court.

The RJD alleged that Jha's daughters were appointed on the same day without special qualifications, claiming the move undermines the opportunities for Dalits and extremely backward classes. The party argues that such practices inhibit the social mobility of these communities, questioning the systemic fairness of appointments.

RJD spokesperson Manoj Kumar Jha criticized the ruling BJP-led NDA, suggesting coalition politics influence such decisions, depriving eligible candidates from backward classes of opportunities. The controversy arises as Bihar anticipates upcoming elections, highlighting the ongoing debate over governance practices in the state.
