British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the implementation of a recently agreed trade deal between the U.K. and the U.S. is expected to be finalized shortly. Speaking ahead of a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Canada, Starmer conveyed his optimism.
As both leaders attend the Group of Seven (G7) summit, Starmer emphasized the importance of the trade agreement. "I'm certainly seeing President Trump today, and I'm going to discuss with him our trade deal," he told reporters, highlighting the significance of international economic collaborations.
The Prime Minister commended the progress of the trade deal, expressing satisfaction that the arrangement is in the final stages of implementation. Starmer anticipates completion of the deal in the near future, reflecting a progression in the U.K.-U.S. economic partnership.
