Russia Calls for Restraint Amid Israel-Iran Tensions
Russia has urged Israel to show restraint in its conflict with Iran, while endorsing Tehran's right to self-defense. Moscow is concerned about global reactions and seeks to mediate. With its strategic partnerships in the Middle East, Russia emphasizes the need for a peaceful resolution to avoid escalating danger.

Russia has called upon Israel to exercise restraint in its escalating conflict with Iran. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov emphasized Tehran's right to self-defense amid mounting tensions.
Following Israel's recent strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran retaliated with missile attacks on Israeli cities. Ryabkov highlighted the potential global repercussions, saying, 'The dangerous consequences of strikes on nuclear infrastructure facilities are obvious to everyone.'
The Kremlin continues to offer its mediation to stabilize the region, reiterating its readiness to aid in converting Iran's enriched uranium into civilian reactor fuel as a potential resolution.
