The incident occurred near the residences of several prominent political figures and state bureaucrats, law enforcement agencies reported.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the incident fueled criticism from opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, who accused the ruling NDA government of complacency towards crime. According to police, a team from the Airport Police Station quickly responded to find a spent cartridge and is now pursuing leads to catch the culprits.
