The Mumbai Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a mass outreach initiative aimed at highlighting the achievements of Narendra Modi's central government over the last 11 years. This campaign is expected to strengthen the party's position in the forthcoming civic elections, a party legislator stated on Thursday.

Starting from June 5, the month-long programme serves to inform citizens about the government's accomplishments, especially in areas concerning governance and welfare schemes. BJP MLA Parag Alavani pointed out that while this effort is not directly tied to the elections, it will inevitably support the party's electoral interests at the local level.

This strategic initiative includes booth-level meetings across constituencies and exhibitions, with highlights such as commemorations on Yoga Day and the death anniversary of Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee. As part of the programme, prominent figures like Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister Ashish Shelar will inaugurate events to further engage the community.
