Putin and Xi Call for De-escalation in Israel-Iran Conflict

On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping engaged in a phone conversation to address the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, as confirmed by Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov.

Both leaders expressed strong opposition to Israel's military actions against Iran, citing violations of the U.N. Charter and international law. They emphasized a non-military, political resolution to the issues surrounding Iran's nuclear program.

Despite Russia's willingness to mediate, endorsed by China, no involved parties have accepted this offer. The leaders committed to maintaining open communication channels as tensions persist.
