Tensions Flare Over Speculation of Tactical Nuclear Weapon Use in Iran
The United States' potential use of tactical nuclear weapons in Iran has sparked controversy, with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov touching on speculative media reports. Despite reports, President Trump is not considering such an option, and Russia strongly opposes U.S. military aid to Israel against Iran.

The potential use of tactical nuclear weapons by the United States in Iran has emerged as a critical issue, sparking significant controversy. Russian state news agency TASS highlighted Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov's concern over speculative media reports on the matter.
Although various reports have circulated, none have been directly named by Peskov. The Guardian indicated that U.S. defense officials were briefed on the inadequacy of conventional bombs to completely destroy Iran's Fordow uranium enrichment facility, suggesting that tactical nuclear weapons might be required.
However, President Donald Trump has confirmed that using such weapons is not currently under consideration. Meanwhile, Russia, maintaining close ties with Iran, has strongly advised against any U.S. military intervention in support of Israel in the Israel-Iran conflict.
