Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur issued a stark warning on Friday, threatening to dissolve the provincial assembly should the federal government continue its alleged destabilization efforts against the PTI-led administration.

In his video address, Gandapur asserted his constitutional authority to dissolve the assembly and criticized federal actions, including what he believes was the undermining of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's public mandate. He also suspended the newly approved provincial budget, directing lawmakers to avoid proposing any amendments during Friday's assembly session.

Gandapur's strong remarks came as former PM Imran Khan remains jailed over incidents linked to May 9 violence, stressing unfair treatment post-May events. He further criticized the governor for not calling the budget session and highlighted the lack of engagement with PTI's founding chairman on budget matters.
