The BJP has launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of failing to recognize India's transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The party claims Gandhi is too preoccupied with undercutting India's advancements to see the improvements.
In response to Gandhi's critique of Modi's focus on slogans rather than solutions, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari provided examples such as Operation Sindoor, where Indian-made drones succeeded against Chinese competitors, to illustrate the nation's manufacturing prowess. Bhandari also noted the significant increase in engineering and defense exports since 2014.
Bhandari pointed out that under Modi, India became the world's 'pharmacy' by supplying 60% of global COVID-19 vaccines and emerged as the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer. He criticized Gandhi for his stances and questioned his allegiance to Indian manufacturing initiatives, citing links with China as a concern.
