National Conference president Farooq Abdullah emphasized the urgency of restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, warning that his party will move to the Supreme Court if delays persist.
Abdullah highlighted that unresolved statehood issues prevent ministerial appointments like that of National Conference MLA Altaf Kaloo. He expressed hope that full powers would be reinstated once statehood is restored.
Addressing both domestic issues and international conflicts, Abdullah prayed for peace between Israel and Iran and criticized national security after a deadly attack in Pahalgam revealed vulnerabilities.
