The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its critique against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, labeling her as the state's "Civic Minister." The BJP accuses Banerjee of leaving crucial government roles vacant, especially in healthcare and police, while allegedly diverting resources towards her political base.
The BJP claims more than 60,000 police positions and numerous fire stations remain understaffed, leading to inefficient management in key sectors like Information Technology, Science, and Biotechnology. They assert that funding is disproportionately allocated towards "Madrasa and Minority Affairs" to secure political support from minority groups.
Highlighting infrastructural issues, the BJP cites examples of inadequate response during flooding in Ghatal town and chaotic conditions in Chandrakona with submerged roads and power outages. The BJP's scathing criticism is visually punctuated by an edited image of Banerjee symbolizing poor leadership during crises.
