Diplomatic Rupture: Iran and US Tensions Escalate
Iran has accused the US of undermining diplomacy with military strikes on its nuclear facilities. Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani made the announcement at an emergency UN meeting, criticizing US actions as unlawful and influenced by Israel. Iran promises a measured response while continuing diplomatic talks with European nations.

Iran has criticized the United States for choosing military action over diplomacy with strikes on its nuclear facilities. Iranian Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani addressed the UN Security Council, accusing the US of escalating tensions with aggressive actions.
The ambassador alleged that Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu influenced US President Trump to engage in these actions, in breach of international law. Iravani highlighted that this could push the US into another costly conflict.
Despite ongoing diplomatic talks with Europe, Iravani argued that the US undermined these efforts. He questioned Western demands for negotiations when, according to him, Iran never abandoned diplomacy in the first place.
