In a fiery statement, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav accused the Congress party of persistently showing disrespect to Dr. BR Ambedkar, a respected figure in Indian history as the chief architect of the Constitution and a social reformer.
Addressing reporters, Yadav claimed Congress's historical actions demonstrated disregard for Ambedkar, such as neglecting to allow his victory in any Lok Sabha election and refusing to conduct his last rites in Delhi.
The row over Ambedkar's statue at Gwalior's High Court premises fueled more criticism, with Yadav asserting that Congress should apologize for its 'sins' and take responsibility for actions during its long rule in Madhya Pradesh.
