In a scathing critique, Congress MLA Raju Kage on Tuesday addressed the issue of prolonged administrative delays that plague various government departments in Karnataka. Kage accused the state government of failing to regulate its officials, who "don't work or go in the field," urging the introduction of a rule to expedite developmental projects.
Highlighting a personal example, Kage cited a halted road construction project in his Kagwad constituency, despite allocated funds from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The delay, he claimed, was due to procedural bottlenecks even after funds were released for the work.
Furthermore, Kage expressed his dissatisfaction with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's lack of communication, hinting at his potential resignation amid ongoing administrative challenges. Meanwhile, Karnataka Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan dismissed allegations of corruption in housing allotments, inviting accusers to come forward with specific charges.
