Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways, V Somanna, celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast on Sunday, describing it as a source of enduring inspiration and depth. Somanna expressed his admiration for the Prime Minister's remarks on platform X, highlighting their insightful and motivational impact.
Somanna further engaged in community activities, attending the Pratibha Puraskar and Felicitation Ceremony in Tumakuru. Organized by the Veerashaiva Lingayat Seva Samiti, the event honored SSLC and PUC achievers from the 2024-25 academic year. Prominent figures including Shivasiddeshwara Swamiji and former MP GH Basavaraj graced the ceremony with their presence.
The Minister also inaugurated a mobile service center in Tumkur as part of the Digital India initiative, promoting digital accessibility alongside pillars of education with groundwork laid for new hostels facilitated by Hindu Sadar Kshemaabhivruddhi Sangha. Earlier, Modi acknowledged the vital roles of Doctors and CAs, underscoring their societal contributions on the eve of their respective honor days.
