China acknowledged on Monday that its boundary dispute with India is complex and will require time for resolution. The country, however, expressed a willingness to engage in discussions on border delimitation and ensure peace in the disputed regions.
During a meeting on June 26 in Qingdao, India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh proposed to Chinese counterpart Dong Jun that India and China address the contentious issues through a structured approach, aiming to decrease tensions and rejuvenate existing mechanisms along the frontiers.
Although the dispute has seen 23 rounds of high-level talks without resolution, both countries emphasize maintaining communication and employing diplomacy to ensure tranquility along the Line of Actual Control.
