In a dramatic political move, MLA T Raja Singh has resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) following reports that Ramchander Rao is poised to become the new state president for Telangana. Singh has voiced his disagreement with Rao's elevation and emphasized the need for a leader who embodies an aggressive stance on Hindutva.

Speaking to ANI, Singh underscored the importance of selecting a state president who aligns with both party leaders and grassroots workers' aspirations, highlighting the party's potential to form a government in Telangana. He expressed feeling suffocated within the party under current conditions and communicated his continued support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, regardless of his BJP affiliation.

Raja Singh's resignation letter to G. Kishan Reddy, BJP Telangana unit president, pointed to concerns about the party's direction. He criticized the selection of Rao as state president, suggesting influence from individuals misusing their powers for personal interest and questioning the transparency in decision-making processes.
