Congress MP Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday took a pointed jab at Prime Minister Narendra Modi just before his scheduled five-nation visit. Ramesh accused the Prime Minister of shirking important national issues, labeling him the 'Super Premium Frequent Flier' for his extensive travel plans.
Ramesh highlighted troubled areas demanding attention, such as the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur. He expressed concerns over PM Modi's absence in addressing the state's derailment and the crumbling of normalcy there.
Adding fuel to the fire, Ramesh referred to defense officials' claims about initial failures in Operation Sindoor and former US President Donald Trump's interference in India-Pakistan relations. Rahul Gandhi joined the criticism, proposing that the BJP-RSS leadership falters under international pressure, citing Modi's alleged compliance with Trump's calls during tense times.
