In a significant display of military collaboration, Indian and French forces recently completed Exercise Shakti, a two-week joint wargame in France aimed at boosting operational synergy against security threats.

Conducted from June 18 to July 1, the drill involved around 50 armoured and tactical vehicles, fighter jets, and over 500 troops from the French and Indian militaries, including from the elite French Foreign Legion.

The exercises, held in Aveyron and Herault districts, contribute to deeper defense ties and mutual respect, reinforcing the shared commitment between the two nations towards global peace and security.
