Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran on Wednesday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will emerge victorious in the next Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. He predicted a coalition government post-elections, with cabinet positions for all alliance partners.

Speaking in Trichy, Dhinakaran was questioned about an upcoming conference planned by O Panneerselvam in Madurai. In a vague statement, he suggested the possibility of surprise guests, saying, "Just wait and see who will be attending." On the Chief Ministerial candidate, he deferred, indicating that only Amit Shah could clarify.

Addressing the defection of former AIADMK leader Anwar Raja to the DMK, he expressed disappointment, describing Raja as a close friend. When asked about Edappadi K Palaniswami's tour, which omitted mentions of the AMMK, he advised reporters to direct their inquiries to others. Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Tamil Nadu, Dhinakaran stated he had not sought an appointment.

Meanwhile, Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) Chief Coordinator Senthamizhan Seeman responded to an alleged alliance invitation from AIADMK's Edappadi K. Palaniswami with caution. "Let's wait and see," he told the media after launching a new clinic in Villupuram. Criticizing both BJP and DMK, Seeman declared NTK as the sole legitimate alternative in Tamil Nadu politics.

Seeman criticized national parties for their inability to address key issues, particularly water, arguing that repeated governance by Congress and BJP has failed the people. NTK, he suggested, is the way forward, describing the party as 'water' against the 'fire' of alternating national governments.
