In a dramatic turn of events, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has threatened an election boycott due to contentious electoral roll revisions in Bihar. The Congress, aligned with Yadav, has openly challenged the process, criticizing it as 'Tughlaqi' and vowing to oppose it in all potential avenues, including legal ones.
Yadav suggested the INDIA bloc may consider boycotting elections if the current Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is not changed. He described the ongoing process as a 'fraud' and accused the Election Commission of India of providing misleading data about voter lists in the state.
Congress leader Krishna Allavaru alleged collaboration between Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the BJP, accusing them of vote manipulation. The party has pledged to continue its protest through various platforms, contesting the integrity and fairness of the revised electoral process.
