Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar Prasad reaffirmed the party's unwavering stance on terrorism, lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not just promoting zero tolerance but also exemplifying it in actions. Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Prasad emphasized the proactive measures taken under Modi's leadership.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the Lok Sabha, delved into the Congress party's historical approach to China, Pakistan, and Kashmir, while outlining stringent anti-terrorism actions taken by the current government. He reiterated the government's commitment to combating terrorism, elaborating on Operation Sindoor and its significance in the ongoing parliamentary debates.
In a related announcement, Shah confirmed the elimination of three terrorists linked to civilian killings, achieved through the collaborative Operation Mahadev by the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police. Among them was Suleman, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander. Shah condemned the terrorists' brutal acts and expressed condolences to affected families, commendably acknowledging the brave efforts of security forces.
