Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday unveiled plans to establish a new secretariat building in Delhi, consolidating various government departments under one roof. This announcement followed her visit to the Women and Child Development Department office at Kashmere Gate, where she expressed concerns over the building's poor condition.
During her visit, Gupta criticized the previous AAP government, noting that despite a fire incident in 2021, no repairs were carried out and the office remained in disrepair. 'Theirs was an educated government,' Gupta remarked, accusing them of spending on extravagant projects while neglecting essential infrastructure.
