In a strong critique of the Mahayuti government, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut emphasized that changing a minister's portfolio isn't enough to salvage its reputation. Amid controversy, Raut argued that all 'tainted' ministers must resign to save face.

Raut's comments followed NCP Minister Manikrao Kokate's reassignment from agriculture to sports and youth welfare, after a contentious video surfaced showing him playing an online rummy game during a legislative session. The opposition, led by Shiv Sena (UBT), is pressing for further ministerial resignations.

Raut alleged that the ministers in the Mahayuti alliance have become a burden for Maharashtra's CM Devendra Fadnavis, who, he claims, is keen to shed this 'baggage.' With calls for a major cabinet reshuffle growing, the current political climate in the state remains tense.
