In a scathing critique, DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin, lashed out at the archrival AIADMK for rekindling its alliance with the BJP, alleging dissatisfaction among AIADMK's diligent members with the new political ties.

Stalin accused the central ruling BJP of betraying Tamil Nadu. Despite this, AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami proceeded to associate with the BJP for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections, allegedly propagating falsehoods during his statewide campaign.

Ahead of his father M Karunanidhi's death anniversary, Stalin implored DMK supporters to embrace pro-Tamil values, ensuring electoral victory. He condemned BJP's actions in non-ruled states and touted DMK's success in legal disputes over state bills.
